I was there on (23/5/07 @ 9pm) and let me tell it's a very different story from the one Sriya Ray Chaudhuri of Midday would like you to believe. Completely untrained staff, noisy as hell, food was ordinary and greasy, staff didnt know when to serve what, didn't let you decide what to eat and insisted on certain items. Had to ask for chinese tea 4 times before it finally came. When clearing the plates, the waiter was emptying out leftovers from one plate to the other in front of me and talking to me at the same time. The waiter himself pointed out how it was "strange" that there were so many mushrooms when he had specifically told the chef not to add any as per my request. As a vegetarian, i got a distinct non-veg smell in the food. The decor which is so highly praised...try sitting the way the chairs are designed and see how much u have to stretch ur hand out to get to the table. They had curtains which they could raise atleast at night when there is no sunlight and let people enjoy the view. I don't see myself going there ever again. - Khamir , posted 06/06/07 |
